The Workshop

We have been giving DJ workshops at P60 since 2008, we teach the DJs to mix existing music tracks together. But in recent years, as a DJ you also have to be able to make your own music, in other words produce it. This is what we will teach the participants of the producer workshops in a series of 5 lessons of one and a half hours. They themselves, like modern Mozarts, learn how modern music is made on the computer using software. What is the music like and how do you produce your own song or your own remix.

The workshop is offered to children aged 10 to 15 years. Nowadays young people can easily handle equipment so that we can let them work with music from an early age. Our great advantage is that our students can work directly with music that they know and also like. So they don't have to learn to play difficult chords or read notes.
