The band, originally from The Hague, known for pop classics such as Hey Girl, Beep Beep Love, Tokyo, Rock 'n Roll and Disco Really Made It, has been performing with great success for a number of years. The line-up still consists of frontman and songwriter Hans Vandenburg (vocals/guitar) and the other original members Peter Calicher (keyboards) and Max Mollinger (drums). The charming eye-catchers Lies Schilp & Inge Bonthond (both vocals) are also present as the Bombitas. Tim Barning (bass) has completed the company since the album Great. With this record, the band made an acclaimed comeback in 2018. "Gruppo's best since Back to '78," wrote music magazine OOR.

Gruppo Sportivo will play a number of tracks from a new album to be released this evening. The single P.S. I Love You, released on 13 October, is the first achievement of this. Furthermore, of course, the necessary hits are discussed. So are other favorites of the audience and/or the band itself.
