About Winston Francis:
With his unmistakable voice, unforgettable songs and unbridled energetic performance, he is an icon in the world of ska, rocksteady and reggae and a living legend who has captured the hearts of fans around the world for decades. And how special is it that at the age of 81 you still act like that as if you were 18?

On this special night, Winston Francis, nicknamed 'Mr Fix it', will be joined by Change the Mood, this band originated from a number of members of Rude Rich and the High Notes. That band has accompanied Winston Francis and many other musical ska & reggae icons for years during their shows in the Netherlands and abroad.

But again, that's not all, as the great Downbeat Detonators complete the evening with their ska and rocksteady, inspired by Jamaican music from the 60s and 70s. With a load of trombone and sax melodies, raw organ parts, polyphonic vocals and supported by a tight rhythm section, they take on every performance as if it is their last. And as icing on Winston Francis' birthday cake, DJ TinWishTin is there to make the party complete.

Together, this makes for an unforgettable ska reggae explosion that you don't want to miss. So everyone is invited to come and celebrate Winston's birthday again, as his musical milestones pass by and you enjoy a night full of great music and good vibes.
