With a mix of fiddle, accordions, pipes and whistles, alongside guitar and vocals, underpinned by driving bass, drums and keys, Skerryvore represent the best in contemporary Scottish traditional music!

Skerryvore was founded in 2005 on the west coast island of Tiree, named after the local lighthouse. The eight-man formation plays traditional Ceilidh music, mixed with folk and rock. Since 2005 Skerryvore has been playing all over the world, in the early days in halls and bars on the Scottish west coast, now they are a popular act at major festivals in the US, Canada, Australia and in the UK and Europe.

Their 6 studio albums demonstrate the wide range of influences that the individual musicians add to the mix - a unique fusion of folk, trad, rock and Americana, with even some jazz in it!
