The first Girl Groups were formed in the late 50s with close harmony acts (the Andrew Sisters) and that has grown into an explosion of groups such as The Supremes, The Shangri Las, The Ronettes and Martha and the Vandellas in the 60s and 70s. And also in the 80s and 90s the girl groups stormed the hit lists, think of Destiny Child, The Bangles, The Pointer Sisters, TLC, and The Spice Girls. A fantastic coat rack to hang a varied selection of songs on. Where the feet will certainly go off the floor again!
