Als het gaat om de meest invloedrijke bands in de geschiedenis van heavy metal, plaatsen kenners Anvil steevast in de top.

Gorgoroth

Na een pact met de duivel in 1992 richtte Infernus Gorgoroth op, een vroege Noorse black metalband die in dezelfde periode speelde als Darkthrone, Mayhem, Immortal, Burzum en Emperor. Gorgoroth heeft uitgebreid in het buitenland getoerd en de bezetting is meerdere malen veranderd – zo’n 25 verschillende muzikanten hebben sinds de oprichting deel uitgemaakt van de band.

Michael McColgan & The Bomb Squad

Michael McColgan & The Bomb Squad is a very special performance by a Boston all-star band. They came together out of a love for music that has been a part of their lives, and they play songs from their early days with DKMS. Michael McColgan was the co-founder and frontman of the Dropkick Murphys until 1998. Since 2002, he has been the lead singer of the punk band Street Dogs. Rick Barton is the guitarist and a founding member of The Outlets, and was a co-founder and ex-guitarist of the punk band Dropkick Murphys until 2000. They will be performing “Do or Die” in its entirety with Pieps and all. Supporting them is Johnny Rioux, also known as the guitarist from Street Dogs or The Bruisers, who has played with Roger Miret and the Disasters. He was the tour manager for the Dropkick Murphys in their early days. Just to give you a taste of what’s to come.

Delain

For nearly twenty years, DELAIN has been bringing their signature melodic metal sound to a global audience. With seven studio albums and three EPs to their name, they've collaborated with metal legends including Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation), Marko Hietala (Nightwish), and Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy). Their tours with bands like Nightwish, Sabaton, and Within Temptation, and performances at festivals like Wacken, Graspop, and Download, have firmly established DELAIN as pioneers in the genre.

Primal Fear

PRIMAL FEAR has been playing pure heavy and power metal for over 25 years. Since their formation in 1997, the band has overcome many challenges. Yet they always come back stronger, as if rising like a phoenix from the ashes.
