SURGERY FOR ZEBRA ANNIVERSARY
In 2025, it will be 30 years since the release of "Surgery for Zebra," Metal Molly's debut album, which included the Belgian pop classic "Orange." Metal Molly plans to celebrate this with a tour of festivals and clubs, featuring their original lineup.
About Metal Molly
In 1997, the band was also busy working on a second album, but the pressure of success forced them to go on hiatus for a year. In 1999, they recorded "The Golden Country," but quite a few songs didn't make the cut. Not because they were bad, but because the band wanted to pursue a different musical path during "The Golden Country" era. Pascal, Allan, and Gino are eager to return to the bare essentials: the "lost songs" are primal Metal Molly songs, with that sharp, angular, and sometimes dissonant Nirvana-meets-the-Beatles-meets-Weezer vibe.
Those songs will now be finished and released, with a first single expected in early 2025! Simultaneously, "Surgery for Zebra" will be reissued on vinyl.
