Clinton Fearon is a Jamaican musician, songwriter, and composer who began his career as bassist, vocalist, and lyricist for the legendary reggae band The Gladiators. At 19, he joined the band and co-wrote classics like Chatty Chatty Mouth, Richman Poorman and Let Jah Be Praised.
Besides his work with The Gladiators Fearon was a sought-after session musician and played bass for renowned artists such as Yabby You, Jimmy Riley, and Max Romeo. He worked in iconic Jamaican studios like Studio One and Black Ark, where he created timeless basslines.
With 13 albums to his name, he performs at major festivals worldwide, from the US and Canada to Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. His music remains a key part of the reggae scene, with profound messages and warm melodies. Fearon has collaborated with artists such as Alpha Blondy, Mike Love, and The Movement, and his musical influence continues to expand. In 2024, he will release his third acoustic album, Survival Vibration and tour France with guitarist Kubix. With his poetic lyrics and inspiring music, Fearon reaches a wide audience and remains true to his mission: spreading positivity and awareness through reggae.
