Going to the museum on Friday evening? You can do that on December 16! Not only will the Cobra Museum open its doors that day from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm, there will also be a special musical performance in collaboration with P60. As part of the exhibition Kosmogonie, in which you can become acquainted with contemporary art from many African countries, we are jointly organizing an edition of the Vivid Sessions.

The Vivid Sessions, led by guitarist, singer and band leader Isaac Bullock Kintu, have become a household name in P60. These evenings invariably guarantee a colorful mix of well-known and lesser-known (pop) music that makes it difficult to stand still. Band members and special guests come together to build a musical party. This edition of the Vivid Sessions between the art of Kosmogonie naturally asks for an Afro-beat frame. Together with a six-piece band, Isaac Bullock Kintu therefore brings the 'Africa sound'.

At the Vivid Sessions, there is always a varied group of up-and-coming and better-known musicians on stage. Members of bands such as Snarky Puppy, Prince, Level 42, Macy Gray, Anderson Paak and Larry Graham were already among the special guests.

On December 16, the band is composed:

·         Wendy Kimani – Vocals

·         Marlice Baart – Flutist

·         Darryl Danchelo Osenga – Spoken Word Artist

·         Pablo Minoli – Guitar

·         Raymond Baguma – Bass

·         Chris Colleye – Percussionist

Time: 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
