Christos Sougk
Christos Sougk comes from Greece, from where heeventually had to migrate due to a series of allergic reactions to sunlight. He strives for the representation of people with nasal voices and broken English in popular culture. He is the owner and show runner of LaughPlug Comedy in Rotterdam. In 2023, a media outlet named him as one of the 8 Rotterdammers to watch, along with 7 people who have actual day jobs. He’s still wondering if anyone is watching.
Where other comics strive for relatability, Christos has been leaving audiences either in stitches or in utter confusion, with an absurd comedic style that pushes the boundaries of good taste and decency. When a comedian of such caliber is on the bill, only one thing is certain: you are in for a fully realized assault on the senses; with an impact just as memorable as that of a neatly executed amputation.
Madhu
Madhu is from the south of India (Chennai). She works in speciality coffee and she's been a theater artist for nine years now. From December she's been doing comedy and exploring the possibilities it brings.
She's been exploring dating both men and women from the time che came back to the Netherlands in 2022, after a short break of living in Chennai with her parents during Covid.
Her set is going to be predominantly about my exploration, her identity and labels that we're expected to conform and most importantly a very good chance it's the first time she loudly accepts she belongs on the spectrum!
