WENDE presents De Wildernis. In association with an (inter-)national team of renowned and desginers, she searches for answers to questions that we would rather not ask, but that touch our hearts, minds and guts. Curious, courageous and restless, she goes off the beaten track and shines light on areas where shade normally prevails.

Her journey of discovery results in a performance that only Wende can create; a concert in which she fuses music and design into titillating total theatre. With abrasive lyrics, steaming electronics and classical influences, she has been dragging the narrative song of Piaf and Brel into the 21st century for years. Her idiosyncratic ideas challenge her to deliver consistent top quality and are the driving force behind a permanent search for innovation. That makes her one of the most remarkable artists in the Netherlands. Her albums and performances have been awarded several times; of several Edisons, the Annie M.G. Schmidt Prize and the Golden Harp until an appointment as resident artist of the Royal Theater Carré.

This is the rescheduled concert of November 18, 2021, which was previously scheduled for June 4, 2021. Ticket buyers have received an email about this from Ticketmaster.
